When Hollywood actually made good films. From Wikipedia:
Falling Down is a 1993 American psychological thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher, written by Ebbe Roe Smith and released by Warner Bros. in the United States on February 26, 1993, starring Michael Douglas whose character is a divorced unemployed engineer. Note the words “divorced” and “unemployed”
If you are unfamiliar with the film, watch this most excellent critique of the film:
Nothing is really as it seems. And nothing is ever accurately portrayed by the lying-scum-media.
I bring this movie up because the movie Falling down may more accurately reflect some of the motivation behind the Louisiana attack which killed 15. There is far more to this story than the simple-minded ISIS terrorist is bad, so let’s bomb the shit out of Syria for this attack on innocent Americans point-of-view. Shamsud-Din Jabbar may have been radicalized by the Muslim religion, may have wanted to join ISIS, but I suspect that much of the radicalization stemmed from a series of bad choices in life which he never took responsibility for, and perceived injustice which resulted amplified by the victimhood culture so prevalent in the United States, amplified by the race-hustlers in both the democratic party and the Nation of Islam
A fuller portrayal of the man is found by watching this YouTube video by Anton Daniels. The first minute might blow your mind. It blew my mind.
Much like in the movie Falling Down, the train went off the rails for Sham somewhere between the time when Sham worked at Core Reality in Houston and when the still-photograph taken, whenever that was. See the first minute of the above video.
Sham appears to be an articulate young man, professional, well-adjusted, well dressed, army veteran, served his country, married, and most importantly, employed. The world is his oyster.
Continue to watch this CNN interview with his middle school, and high school classmate, Chris Pousson, who is a Christian at the 3:00 mark and pay attention to the CNN graphic at the 3:30 mark.
Sham had a DUI in 2015. Was this the seminal event where Sham fell down? Did he lose his career? Did his marriage end in divorce? Did he end in financial ruin? Did he become “Not Economically Viable?” Understand, alcohol is considered forbidden in Islam, so it is doubtful he was radicalized in 2015. It’s hard to pin down exactly when things went off the rail for Sham, but the educated guess holds that the downward spiral all began with the DUI in 2015.
Then we have the race hustlers like the Obamas who amplify greatly off of their grift to the tune of tens if not hundreds of millions who prey on people like Sham:
This serves as a clarion call of why the world needs Christianity. Christianity will put “falling down” in a better perspective. Christianity posits the God is in control, not man, and that hardships will and do come your way which may be of your own doing and also, may be due to others and used for God’s purpose. It also posits those choices you make in life matter. It will help you steer clear of poor choices, to make better accountable choices. To make the difficult choices. It teaches Love and humility. It will not steer you toward taking the innocent lives of 15 victims when things do not go your way. That the choices you make matter and have consequences. It also posits that with repentance to God; He, being in control, could have turned it all around for Sham. Countless testimonies exist of those who took this path. It’s not the easy path; it’s the difficult but righteous path. And it is the only path to redemption.
Whatever situation Sham was in, he took the easy road, not the road to redemption.
Division, balkanization and victimhood is demonic and is an effective tool which radicalizes anyone. It pays well; grants power to those who are skilled at manipulating others with the grift. We see this with rise of Hitler. We see this in all forms of Marxism. We see this with the race hustlers like the Nation of Islam, and Black Lives Matter. We see this with radical feminism, and we see this with the political left. We see this with Woke Ideology. We see this in the assassination attempts of Donald Trump. And unfortunately for 15 victims we saw it in New Orleans on New Years Eve 2024.
